Some days...when life feels especially indifferent, I watch this clip of My Left Foot. And then I watch it again. And again. Turning it up full volume to drown out the off key happy birthday singers in the apartment next door. Oh god...Family. FAMILY. And he opted for "Mother" and not "Mom".
